Gawein Remmerswaal
Gawein Remmerswaal has been working as a general practitioner since 2018 and has been working as a general practitioner on the Costa Blanca since 2021. After his medical studies in Groningen (The Netherlands), he gained experience as a medical doctor at the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital in Amsterdam in the surgical oncological disciplines. This is where his interest in palliative care and end-of-life care started, which he carries with him to this day.
Subsequently, Gawein completed the General Practitioner Training at the Free University of Amsterdam and started working as an acting general practitioner in various general practices and out-of-hours general practitioners in the Amsterdam/Haarlem region.
You can contact Gawein for all your major and minor ailments for which you normally visit your GP back home. Gawein has a special affinity for the care of children, minor surgical procedures, psychiatric problems, and the guidance of palliative patients and end-of-life care.
The most important thing for Gawein is that he is willing and able to take the time for your personal story. Gawein gladly stands by his patients: supporting you in your medical journey and helping you to improve.
