Consultation

You can make an appointment for a consultation with our general practitioners either by telephone or through the online appointment calendar on our website.

We want to be able to take sufficient time to listen to you carefully. If you feel that you need more time to discuss your health concerns, please indicate this. We will then take this into account and ensure that you get the extra time you need.

If this is your first consultation with GP Javea, we kindly ask you to be present 15 minutes earlier than the agreed-upon time of consultation. On your first visit, you will receive a registration form in which you will to fill in all your personal data. We would like to hear about your medical history, receive an up-to-date medication list and we would also like to know if you have any allergies/intolerances.

In addition to a physical consultation in Clinica La Lluca, there is a possibility for a telephone consultation. We prefer a physical consultation as this provides more information and is a more pleasant way of proving care for us. Your initial consultation will always be physical.

If you want to know more about our rates, you can inquire at our reception desk. At the moment we are in the process of concluding contracts with a number of Spanish health insurers. As soon as these collaborations are complete, we will announce this via the website and social media. You can, however, submit the invoice for your visit to your health insurer. Since our general practitioners are registered in Spain as well as in The Netherlands, our experience is that your health insurer will (sometimes partially) reimburse you.

If you need a medical statement for your visit because your health insurer has requested it, or you want a transfer for your GP in your home country, this is of course possible. We will charge a fee for drawing up the medical statement/transfer.
