Welcome to General Practitioners Javea

GP Javea is a recently established general practice located in Clinica La Lluca. Clinica La Lluca is centrally located and easily accessible. Our team consists of general practitioners Drs Anne-Marie Le Clercq and Gawein Remmerswaal, both of who are trained in The Netherlands as doctors. In addition to their Dutch GP license, they are both affiliated with the Colegio de Médicos in Spain.

You can contact General Practitioner Javea for all your acute but also chronic ailments and diseases. We are there for both young and older patients. Together with your general practitioner, we will look at what you need in terms of care for your individual situation. Due to their experience in healthcare on the Costa Blanca, they can help you if a visit to the hospital or specialist is necessary and also support you with requests for additional testing or research.

You can also contact GP Javea for blood tests. Additionally, our general practitioners maintain good relationships with paramedical specialists in the region. For example: if you are in need of a physiotherapist, osteopath, or home care support, they are happy to assist you in finding such a specialist and help you with your needs. You can also contact General Practitioner Javea for minor surgical procedures and driving license examinations.

Over the years they have developed a holistic vision on health care. They believe it is important to take into consideration the whole picture behind a complaint or symptom. And to look, together with you, at all aspects of your health, both physical and mental, but certainly, also aspects such as nutrition and lifestyle play a role in this. Our GPs find it important to be able to take the appropriate time for their patients. This gives you the opportunity to calmly tell your story and our GPs the opportunity to give you their full attention while listening to you. In this way, the calmer pace of life on the Costa Blanca also affects the consultation room of General Practitioner Javea.

We are currently in the process of concluding contracts with a number of Spanish health insurers. As soon as these collaborations are complete, we will announce this via the website and social media. You can, however, submit the invoice for your visit to your health insurer. Since our general practitioners are registered in Spain as well as in The Netherlands, our experience is that your health insurer will (sometimes partially) reimburse you.

Opening Hours

You can make an appointment both online and by telephone. To make an appointment by telephone, we are available from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. The clinic is open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
